Starling Minds

Starling Minds is an online mental health and wellness toolkit that provides education and training to manage stress and prevent anxiety and depression. The Starling program was developed by Dr. Andrew Miki and is based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Starling is Canadian, based out of Vancouver, BC.

A partnership between the NWTTA and the GNWT Department of Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) through the NWT Education Renewal Initiative now provides a 2-year access to NWTTA members for the Starling Minds Health and Wellness online Toolkit developed specifically for educators. ECE is proud to support the Starling Program for NWT educators through its NWT Education Renewal Initiative. The NWTTA acknowledges the importance of ECE’s active support of members’ health and wellness and thanks them for this partnership opportunity.

There is no cost to NWTTA members to use Starling and confidentiality and privacy are assured through this program.Starling Information Brochures:
